    **Inventory Control Specialist**

    **Job Title:** Inventory Control Specialist

    **Department:** Supply Chain

    **Reports to:** Inventory Control Manager

    **Compensation:** DOE

    **Exempt/Non-Exempt:** Non-Exempt

    **Shift:** 8:30am-5:00pm

    **Position Objective:** The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for control of raw materials required for production, ensuring inventory accuracy and accurate production reporting. This includes all raw material movements from supply to staging. Raw materials include ingredients, packaging and Work in Process, i.e., all components needed to produce/assemble finished product.

    **Job Duties and Responsibilities:**

    Work closely with the Supply Chain, QA, Warehousing & Production Teams to ensure material movement/usage is reported correctly & accurately.

    Ensuring all necessary items are in or in route to facility for 2 weeks worth of production

    Logging ingredient overuse and surplus of production day

    Receiving, logging, and filing of Ingredients and Packages

    Storing and organizing items based on FIFO

    Formulating, prepping, and logging proper quantities for ingredients and packages for recipes for next and following days production

    Filing all received items including packing slips/Bill of Ladings/Certificate of Analysis of the week

    Knowledge of QA/QC allergen controls when storing and staging ingredients

    Work closely with Supply Chain, monitoring Process Order, Batch Numbering, and scheduling accuracy/completeness. Report SAP inventory inaccuracies and work together to reconcile variances.

    Perform required inventory verification. Will include overt time hours as needed.

    Monitor & help reconcile critical stocks.

    Assist with root cause analysis on inventory inaccuracies to determine reasons for variances.

    Support Production Planning.

    **Job Qualification and Skills:**

    Minimum education required: High School Diploma

    Education desired: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field

    High level of decision making ability with minimal supervision

    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

    Excellent computer skills (MS Office Tools, Excel, Google Docs).

    Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

    Ability to train and effectively communicate company procedures and policies.

    Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, self-motivated, and team player.

    Quick logical thinking skills

    Ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment

    Utilization of RedZone

    Ability to work fast paced and work with a sense of urgency, while still being detail focused and highly analytical

    Communicate and follow YouBars food safety commitment practices

    Other tasks as assigned by Manager

    Ability to work in an environment with exposure to shellfish, crustaceans, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk, eggs, whey without incident
