    Who We Are Looking For:


    We are looking for an individual to bring cross-functional Agile Teams that will responsively deliver business value with high quality software.

    You will apply Agile and DevSecOps best practices to support the continual improvement of system configuration and custom development. You will also contribute to evolving development standards and share lessons learned with other stakeholders.

    What You'll do:

    Lead development efforts consisting of multiple developers or multi-thread development projects.
    Collaborate with end users, business analysts, and systems analysts to determine features, requirements and solution design
    Design, document, and enforce architectural and design standards.
    Gather and drive stakeholder requirements and product vision through the planning, analysis, development, and testing phases.
    Possess a thorough understanding of the data, sources of data, and relationships of data.
    Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues as needed.
    Develop, upgrade, test, implement, and document software components of client applications.
    Work independently within teams throughout all phases of the development lifecycle.
    Communicate with end users, business analysts, and systems analysts to determine features, requirements and solution design.
    Develop enhancements to a suite of applications using leading software principles.
    Document technical specifications and designs.
    Adhere to established design, coding, naming and standards.
    Participate in code reviews and apply corrections as required.
    Adhere to change control processes.
    Write/revise documentation including operations and user guidelines

    How You'll Excel In Your Role:

    Problem-solving skills and proven record of working well in a team environment.
    Advanced proficiency in analysis, and communication skills (verbal and written) across all organizational levels.
    Excellent analysis and communication skills (written and oral).
    Work with other team members and ask for assistance as required
    Effectively communicate progress on assignments and potential blockers

    Required Experience

    BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
    3-5 years of experience in software application development.

    Advanced knowledge of software tools, platforms, and processes required to support the associated technology stack TypeScript/JavaScript, React, IAC (Cloudformation/Terraform/AWS SAM), Serverless Framework, AWS (S3, ECS, Fargate, ECR, RDS, SSM, SES, Lambda, MSK, Step Functions, API Gateway, Cloudfront, Route 53), Kafka (Event-Driven Architectures) and yaml.

    CI/CD pipeline experience (Github Actions, Jenkins etc)
    Advanced knowledge of databases and related tools (as applicable above).

    Preferred Experience

    Public Trust Clearance
    AWS Certification (Associate/Professional/Specialty)

    The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

    The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

    At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

    A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000 - $120,000.
