- Writing and editing technical specifications for architecture and interiors projects;
- Coordinating with project teams to specify relevant requirements for project management, procurement, installation testing, and certification;
- Developing, improving, and maintaining master specifications across all markets;
- Performing product research and providing technical guidance to project teams on material and system selections;
- Participating in QA/QC reviews for compliance between specifications and contract documents;
- Working independently with multiple project teams to coordinate specifications for multiple projects on different schedules;
- Coordinating specifications with BIM strategies and specification writing software;
- Collaborating with other professionals in a multi-disciplinary environment;
- Mentoring junior staff to support their professional growth.
- A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field (M-Arch highly desired);
- At least 8 years of experience in specification writing for architecture projects;
- CSI Certification (CDT or equivalent) is highly desirable;
- Proficiency in e-SPECS, SpecLink, MasterSpec, or similar specification programs;
- Demonstrated understanding of building codes, building systems, and construction material standards;
- Strong written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
