    Applies advanced methods, to design, develop, maintain, and support technical infrastructure that includes network, hardware, database and/or system software components.


    Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential functions)

    • Performs technical support and oversight for Microsoft Windows Enterprise to include but not limited to planning, designing, evaluating, and maintaining Windows server 2016, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policies and Windows 10 desktop deployment and support.
    • Maintain, update and support Windows 2016 domain
    • Maintain, update and support VMware environment
    • Review, maintain and update Active Directory GPOs to ensure both servers and workstations are complaint with DISA polices
    • Solid understanding of LAN/WAN/VLAN, TCP/IP
    • Participate in planning, researching, evaluating, designing and developing plans for new versions of Windows operating systems providing better solutions and integrations with VMware and 3rd party applications
    • Research and provide recommendations on acquisition of hardware and software
    • Provide technical support to users both internally and externally
    Microsoft Systems Configuration Management (SCCM).

    • Batch files, scripts and PowerShell
    Updating and maintaining VMware

    Required Experience

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in related field such as information systems, engineering, or other related field, or equivalent experience. Masters preferred.
    • Minimum of 8 years related experience
    • Current CompTIA Security+CE Certification
    • US Citizenship required
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance (Interim required prior to start
    Preferred Qualifications

    • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert trained and/or certification
    preferred
