What youll doIn this role, youll help build and maintain the CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker) offering, a critical new component of our Zero Trust Platform.
CASB integrates with customers SaaS applications to detect and monitor for a wide range of security issues from misconfigurations and shadow IT, to critical data leakage and access risks.
As a senior engineer on the team, you will focus on building new functionality into our API integration-based stack while also ensuring the performance and reliability of our services which ingest millions of data points each day.
Youll be joining a team of bright, knowledge-seeking engineers who are truly missionaries in solving the security challenges our customers face across their SaaS applications.
Technologies we use:
CASB core services are written in Python with Celery as our task queue.
Our REST API is written in Python, with Django Rest Framework.
We utilize Postgres as our data store and Redis as our cache and message broker.
Our scanning engine relies heavily on Kafka.
Our frontend is written in Typescript and React.
For service monitoring we use Prometheus and Grafana.
For service logging we use Elasticsearch and Kibana.
For product analytics we use Clickhouse and BigQuery.
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience:
Minimum 3 years of professional experience building and managing reliable and performant software systems at scale, preferably with Python and/or Postgres.
