    Description

    Position: Product Owner

    Pittsburgh, PA or Delaware,DE - preferred; Hybrid - 3 days per week in office

    Remote is accepted but least preferred

    Intended length of Assignment --- 2 mos. remaining on current initiative but the intent is to extend. The whole initiative is 2 years.

    Potential for Contract Extension: ̈ Yes

    W2 only

    Essential Functions

    Current initiatives/project(s) that this resource will be impacting:

    • Project: Credit Card Concert --
    • Card transformation, specifically on the core processing engine.
      --- Credit card processor
    • Building cc processing APIs
    • Credit Card Platform Development Product Owner
    • As a Credit Card Platform Development Product Owner, you will create re-usable omnichannel card processing APIs to support the seamless operations of business-critical credit card journeys across digital, mobile, voice recognition and human assisted channels.

    Must have technical skills/experience (ask for alternative/tool/version) of the position in priority order:

    • Experience in credit or debit cards (required)
    • Experience working with near real-time steaming data, cloud technology, building APIs, middle ware/systems/platforms

    Competencies

    • IT Standards, Procedures & Policies – Knowledge of and the ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational IT policies, standards, and procedures.
    • Managing Multiple Priorities – Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
    • Matrix Management – Ability to build and use effective working relationships within own department and across department, functional, and geographic reporting lines.
    • Organizational Leadership – Knowledge of, and ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing, and achieving objectives.
    • Planning and Organizing – Mobilizes both time and resources to get things done.
    • Solutions Development – Knowledge of and the ability to assess customer needs and provide solutions for them.
    • Design Thinking – Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and processes of design thinking; ability to utilize the knowledge in designing new products and services and even improving organizational operation.
    • Innovation – Develops new ideas and initiatives that improve the performance of the organization

    Flexible Skills:

    Experience in the financial industry (preferred)

    • Experience SAFe Agile certified or equivalent (highly preferred)
    • Experience in BIAN data model ( highly preferred)

    Degrees or certifications

    • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
    • SAFe certification and/or similar agile certification is required.
    • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

    2nd Panel

    3rd with HM and Tech Partner or specialist (Tech Focus)
