    Job DescriptionAbout UsAs one of the area's largest locally owned distribution companies across the Pacific Northwest, this team continues to grow and is looking for a reliable, and experience mechanic team member to join their on-site auto shop. With a fleet of over 200 vehicles, this local company services and repairs their own, company-owned, vehicles on-site. Company will offer training opportunities for entry-level Diesel Mechanic candidates.

    OverviewAs the Diesel Mechanic you will join the in-house team and perform routine maintenance on company's diesel vehicles. If you're looking for a stable company where you can continue your automotive career, this could be the opportunity for you
    Responsibilities
    • Maintain and service all equipment to Federal DOT standards.
    • Road test diesel vehicles to diagnose malfunctions.
    • Changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment.
    • Diagnose, adjust, and repair class A trucks and reefer trailers.
    • Inspect and replace worn break components.
    • Keep documentation on all repairs and communicate statuses of downed vehicles.
    • Complete other projects/duties as assigned.

    Qualifications and Skills
    • 1+ year of recent diesel repair/mechanic experience
    • Must be 18+ years of age
    • Ability to provide own hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, etc.)
    • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record (ability to be insured by Company)
    • Unrestricted ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, squat, lift up to 75 lbs, push, pull, climb and lie on back in horizontal position for prolonged periods of time
    • Ability to pass background check, including DMV records
    • Ability to pass pre-employment UA drug screen, includes THC

    Schedule: Monday - Friday (4:00AM - 3:00PM + occasional Overtime)
    Compensation: $ $30.00 Hourly based on experience level
