- Expert Treatment Services: Use evidenced-based trauma informed care strategies to support youth in achieving their personal and therapeutic goals through individual, group, and family therapy.
- Crisis Intervention: Employ strategic de-escalation and crisis management techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients.
- Leadership in Innovative Practices: Lead the charge in implementing innovative practices in trauma-informed care, contributing to the ongoing evolution of our therapeutic approaches.
- Engaging Client Interaction: Help clients apply learned skills in daily life by providing intervention and support during school hours, leisure time, and socialization.
- Active Participation in Team Dynamics: Participate actively in team meetings and collaborative endeavors, offering insightful contributions and facilitating constructive dialogue.
- Advocacy and Support: Advocate tirelessly for the needs of our youth, providing support and guidance to facilitate their journey towards growth and healing.
- Clear and Effective Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with colleagues and community partners, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
- Thorough Documentation: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field, such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling, from an accredited institution. Professional licensure (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC) required.
- Proven experience in therapeutic intervention and crisis management within a clinical setting, demonstrating adaptability and resilience in challenging situations. A commitment to trauma-informed, evidenced based, and LGBTQ+ affirming care.
- A commitment to continuous learning and growth, with a passion for implementing evidence-based practices in trauma-informed care.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community.
