Machine Set UP

Production Operator

Must be capable of setting up and operating various types of machinery to produce a high-volume quality part.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Set up and operate various types of machinery.

a. Perform various type set-up functions including but not limited to dies, feed adjustments, etc.

b. Make adjustments as required to insure quality piece is produced.

• Check all safety features (guards, lights, pullbacks, etc.) to insure they are working properly.
• Set up fixtures for feeding, loading/unloading devices.
• Run piece part and check for accurate set-up.
• Produce a quality part.
• Ability to make adjustments to various machines.
• Must be knowledgeable of all phases of the machinery that work is being performed on and should be able to run majority of machines within the area.
• Maintain accurate piece counts. Must be able to keep accurate records, time card, set-up card, etc.
• Must perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Good housekeeping.

Qualification Requirements:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
• Ability to set up and operate various types of machines/presses, etc.
• Normal dexterity required.
• Previous set-up experience or training required.

2nd shift

245pm-11pm

$22.49/hr (includes shift differentail)
