    Job Title: Community Specialist

    Department: Service/Maintenance

    Reports to: Community Asset Manager

    Status: Full Time / Non-Exempt, Salary

    Job Summary:

    The Community Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and appearance of multiple communities through various tasks like inspections, maintenance scheduling, and communication with residents and tradespeople. It's a dynamic position requiring daily travel around San Antonio and its suburbs, so having reliable transportation is essential.

    Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Enforce community rules by issuing violation letters and fines based on property inspections, keeping detailed logs of violations.
    • Manage vendor contracts and payments for services provided to communities.
    • Coordinate repairs and perform administrative tasks as needed.
    • Assist in property appraisals for bank loans.
    Required Skills/Abilities:
    • Must have a friendly and professional demeanor, excellent time management, and strong customer-focused skills.
    • Effective decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities are necessary.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are key, along with proficiency in English.
    • Knowledge of management methods and employee relations is crucial, as well as promoting a diverse and inclusive work environment.
    Education and Experience:
    • Minimum of two (2) years' experience with Homeowners Associations
    • Associates degree preferred.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Prolonged driving, independent time management when working remotely, and occasional travel.
