    Description

    Quality Engineer Role

    This role is responsible for executing and expanding key initiatives within the supplier quality organization, including compliance, process and product audits, problem solving, corrective and preventive actions, supplier performance reporting, and other quality improvement activities.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Modifying, applying, and maintaining quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols.
    • Providing explanations of testing and inspection plans, methods, and technologies to ensure reliability and conformance of products and processes.
    • Conducting analysis and developing recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities and design problems for internally produced products and processes.
    • Utilizing PPAP core elements to identify risk in product development and propose risk management solutions.
    • Reviewing and ensuring requirements are met for work transfer and process change management, including Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance.
    • Reviewing process control documentation to ensure it is in compliance with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts.
    • Developing, modifying, applying, and maintaining quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols for materials being processed into partially finished or finished products.
    • Working with product design and specification, devising testing plans, methods, and equipment to assure reliability of product. Collaborating internally to ensure quality standards are in effect.
    • Developing proactive quality initiative strategies and driving their implementation.
    • Designing and implementing product engineering changes to satisfy quality issues raised by customers.
    • Responsible for both Program and Product Quality Engineering.
    • Responsible for development of new inspection technologies or methodologies to assure product conformance.
    • Maintenance of data integrity (0% error rate).
    • Designing of queries, compiling of data, and generation of reports in a dashboard.
    • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to present findings to stakeholders.
    • In-depth research of defect trends.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills:

    • Familiarity with optics and electronics assemblies.
    • 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Quality Engineer in an Aerospace Manufacturing Environment.
    • 5-8 years of FAI experience with AS9102 (FAI) standards at a quality engineering level.
    • Strong understanding of various Engineering Processes, Standard Drawings Conventions, Interpreting Drawing, Specifications, and GD&T.
    • 5-8 years' experience hands-on experience with the ISO9100 and AS9100 Quality Management Systems Processes, especially in Production, Quality, and logistics.
    • Knowledge of, (or hands-on experience preferred), with FAA, EAR, and ITAR standards and regulations.
    • Experience leading customer audits.
    • Strong verbal, written and communication skills.
    • Project management, time management, problem-solving, and organization.
    • Ability to work as an effective team member and lead other team members.

    Additional Desired Skills:

    • Prior practical experience and implementation of Quality Engineering tools and systems such as: DOE, FMEA, SPC, RCCA, APQP, PPAP, controls plans, material control, process control, systems performance, product evaluation, MSA, metrology, automated measurement, and software is preferred.

    General Requirements:

    • Ability to pass background and drug screen.
    • Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
    • US Citizenship Required: TRIGO ADR AMERICAS can restrict hiring to US Citizens when government contracts require us to do so.

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • 4+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
    • Proven expertise in SQL, Tableau, and Python.
    • Proven experience pulling and analyzing data for root cause analysis and drive process improvement initiatives.
    • Engineering/other technical positions: and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
    • 4+ years of Expertise in SQL, Tableau, and Python.
    • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Quality Engineer, with a focus on data analysis and quality improvement.

    Pay Range:

    $70,000-$105,000, please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Trigo ADR considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
