Olive Recruiting is looking for an experienced CDL A Driver to support our client near Atlanta, GA. CDL Drivers are essential to the team and responsible for safely operating tractor and trailer rigs under DOT regulations to transport equipment and crews to job sites. This role may also involve rigging duties.
Full-time, direct hire with client
40 hours a week, relatively local role
Compensation: $32-36 an hour (pending experience) with a comprehensive benefits package
Responsibilities:

• Safe Driving & DOT Compliance: Safely drive tractor and trailer rigs under DOT regulations to transport equipment and crews; ensure proper load securement, handling, and adherence to safety requirements
• Rigging & Load Management: Engage in rigging tasks as needed, operate rigging equipment, and ensure secure and reliable rigging using appropriate tools (cables, pulleys, winches)
• Equipment Operation: Operate various vehicles such as automatic and 18 spd with trailers consisting of flatbeds, lowboys, and Landolls.
• Pre-Trip & Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete required documentation, including electronic logging and safety paperwork
• Teamwork & Communication: Work collaboratively in a team environment, effectively communicate for safe operations, and deliver high-quality service that meets company standards
• Physical Activity & Safety Compliance: Perform physically demanding tasks, maintain worksite cleanliness, and dismantle/store rigging after use

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class A CDL with air brakes and combo endorsements
• At least 2 years of CDL-level driving experience
• Preferably 1-3 years' experience in a related field, preferably in construction services
• Knowledgeable in safe load securement and hauling practices
