Top rated multi-specialty medical billing service group in Las Vegas, NV. has an immediate opening for an experienced Bilingual, Medical Charge Poster. Position is working all posting charges and payments in a Medical Billing Service Medical Group.

Job Description:

Responsible for ensuring timely billing.
The Charge Poster must ensure all the medical services provided to the patients are charged completely and the records are maintained.

Summary:

Position: Medical Charge Poster

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Days: Monday- Friday 8AM-5PM

Pay: $ $21 p/hour DOE

Facility: Billing Service

Must have experience with charge posting and posting payments

Bilingual, Spanish is a must

Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge with HMO's & PPO's
• Familiar with basic coding
• Knowledge with Insurance Plans
• Interacts with business office staff and facility staff as needed to obtain information necessary to submit a clean claim to insurance carriers

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be organized, have attention to detail
• Good data entry skills (advanced) Alphanumeric
• Previous knowledge with using billing software (use Kareo or Tebra)
• Must have background with Pediatrics or other specialties

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Position requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Some patient assistance will be required. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
