RN Cardiac Full Time Evenings Position Summary
As an RN in the Cardiac department, you will provide exceptional nursing care within a designated unit, collaborating with other healthcare disciplines. Your role involves delivering personalized, age-specific direct patient care based on individual needs and the nursing process. Additionally, you will supervise healthcare staff, assess patient care needs, and ensure quality nursing practices are maintained.
Special Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, excel in teamwork, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service and basic computer proficiency are essential. Experience in CVICU, ICU, or a minimum of 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown is highly preferred.
THE RN CARDIAC FULL TIME EVENINGS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school
PREFERRED EDUCATION: BSN
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Level II EQ Only: A minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Prefer 1 year of acute care experience but will consider new graduate. Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona. CPR. ACLS as applicable by Facility/by Department
REQUIRED COURSE(S) TRAINING: L&D only: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or must obtain within six months of hire. updated 12/09/09.
