    The Senior Data Analyst ensures the execution of analytics service plan standards and measure the impact of our efforts on increased client retention. The Senior Data Analyst reviews detailed information, analyzes data in terms of specific business goals and displays findings in simple, meaningful and actionable formats consistent with our brand. He or she creates and refines analytical tools that benefit our clients and implements corresponding processes and deliverables and takes responsibility and ownership for the accurate and timely production of team reports.

    THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

    • Operates as the agency technical expert in financial Analytics, providing analytical resources to production staff and clients
    • Meets or exceeds established performance metrics as designated by Supervisor
    • Mentors Data Coordinator(s)
    • Assists with preparation of educational presentations for the production staff to continue their education and keep to date on analytical tools available

    ANALYTICS

    • Identifies trends in claims data that can be improved through safety, claims management, risk transfer, or other risk management techniques through various reports, including but not limited to: Loss Projections, Reserve/Collateral Analysis, Loss Analysis, Experience Modification Projections and Analysis
    • Supports and strengthen negotiations with underwriters
    • Justifies collateral reductions for clients
    • Predicts future losses based on trends and actuarial factors
    • Compares various program options that enable a client to select the best fit for their company
    • Researches and develops new tools and deliverables as directed
    • Enables clients to adequately and accurately budget for loss sensitive program adjustments
    • Accompanies Producers, Account Executives and other team members as required to client meetings in order to explain analytical tools and results
    • Displays measurable results that we have created for clients

    EXECUTION OF CLIENT SERVICE

    • Works with Producer and/or Account Executives, service team, and other internal departments to plan, execute, and track customized service strategy for each client, designed to create measurable value and efficiencies in their businesses
    • Analyzes risk, coverage, program structure and recommends options; executes coverage and program changes
    • Takes an enterprise-wide approach to client service by collaborating with other service teams to create a cohesive client service experience.
    • Manages time effectively to prioritize workload, client service requests, and service parameters on business processes

    REQUIRED:

    • Upon hire, Producers License for Property/Casualty, as appropriate for role
    • 3+ years of analyst experience
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

    PREFERRED:

    • BS/BA in insurance & risk management, business administration, accounting, finance, economics or mathematics
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Knowledge of insurance analytics concepts and tools
