DescriptionThe candidate will thrive as a relationship manager who works directly with the team to provide tax
and consulting services in accordance with our professional standards and Firm policies. This role
includes:
Managing multiple engagements utilizing the tax team to prioritize engagements and delegate
work to deliver efficient workflow
Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits and manage communications on behalf of clients
Review and prepare quarterly and annual tax projections for clients
Mentor, train and evaluate tax team on their performance and development
Evaluate processes for improved efficiency and updated procedures
Stay abreast of tax laws and legislative changes that impact service delivery
Perform as an integral part of the Leadership Team to assess and evaluate the continual needs
of serving our clients
Participate in professional, social, and community activities to endorse the accounting industry,
address community needs, and promote professional integrity
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar from an accredited college or university
Valid and current CPA license
Member in compliance with AICPA standards
7 years of previous public accounting experience or working as a controller for a closely held company
Technical Knowledge
Skilled in multi‐state tax preparation for nonprofit and for‐profit clients
Skilled at providing tax consulting, planning and preparation for individual and business clients
Familiarity with rules and regulations of federal and local taxing authorities and research in such areas
Apply U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in technology, specifically tax, accounting and O365 applications
