    We are seeking a dynamic Program Manager of Financial Reporting to work collaboratively and strategically within our Accounting & Finance leadership team.

    In this role one will be responsible for preparation of financial statements and reports for Hoag's internal reporting needs and external reporting requirements:

    including quarterly statutory reporting and audited financial statements and footnote disclosures in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States, on an annual basis, while maintaining the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy.

    Assists with transactions entered by Hoag by researching technical accounting guidance and preparing technical accounting memoranda to document Hoag's position on the appropriateness of accounting treatment in accordance with applicable accounting guidance.

    You will coordinate, develop, and update written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process.
    Prepares various disclosure checklists for financial reporting in connection with Hoag's year end audit. This position directly reports into the Director of Accounting.
    Role Requirements and Preferences

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Required: 3 years public accounting experience
    • Preferred: 4 to 6 years of public accounting experience
    • Strong technical U.S. GAAP accounting knowledge
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

    Preferred:

    • Experience working with the Lawson application
    • Knowledge of risk-bearing organizations, managed care delegation arrangements and DMHC reporting requirements
