    Location - Durango, COPay - $2- 40/hr, depending on experience

    Job Description:
    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Childcare Directorto oversee the daily operations.

    The Childcare Director will be responsiblefor providing leadership, guidance, and support to our team of teachersand staff to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintainedwhile caring for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement curriculum that promotes the physical, emotional,cognitive, and social development of children.
    Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff members.

    Create and manage daily and weekly schedules; working to fill needs as theyariseCreate a positive and supportive work environment for staff.

    Oversee the day-to-day operations of the childcare center, includingscheduling, budgeting, and facilities management.
    Maintain open communication with parents and families.
    Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements.
    Develop and maintain positive relationships with community partners andstakeholders.
    Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and childcare.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, orrelated field preferred.
    Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role in a childcaresetting.
    Colorado Shines Director and large center qualifications, requiredStrong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    Knowledge of early childhood education and development principles.
    Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community partners.
