- High school diploma or equivalent; or, associates, bachelor's or master's degree is required.
- Must have and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) credential
- Completion of an accredited electroneurodiagnostic (END) school or a military END training program is preferred
- A minimum of two (2) years experience independently performing EEG procedures in a hospital or clinical setting is required if employee is a new hire; or, R.EEG.T. credential and working in any medical setting is acceptable.

Duties:
Provides competent technical skills in the operation of equipment used to record electroencephalograms.
Provides quality electroencephalographic examinations and ensures proper care and operation of equipment used.
Provides long-term monitoring for epilepsy.
Perform other neurodiagnostic specialized procedures including Positron Emission Topography (PET) scans, Interoperative Monitoring and Intracarotid Sodium Amobarbital Procedure (ISAP, or WADA), Electrocorticography (ECOG) and basic archiving of routine and STAT procedures.
