    The Compliance Specialist will provide a high level of proactive support to internal clients and managers including assessments, strategies, policies and procedures.

    This position will serve as a strategic consultant to managers and will require a strong understanding of the business strategic direction, industry standards, the corporate culture, and short and long-term departmental needs.


    Essential Functions :
    Assists in documenting, tracking and monitoring compliance efforts within the departmentMaintains knowledge of the business unit, builds strong relationships with managersMaintains accurate date in tracking system/database for compliance related reports/dataTracks metrics and communicates success/areas for improvementParticipates in recruitment planning meetings with recruiting department as neededPartners with managers to share ideas and increase the effectiveness of employeesPartners with the recruiting department to provide sourcing ideas including but not limited to traditional job boards, internet data mining, internal databases, social media, employee referrals, networking, cold calling, career fairs, and competitor researchPartners with the recruiting department to maintain a network and pipeline of contacts to source qualified candidatesResearches, identifies, and implements effective tools and resources for the departmentIdentifies needs to meet hiring and business goalsEvaluates current employee eligibility for internal positionsEnsures compliance with applicable laws and regulations and departmental policiesDefines data collection procedures and maintains accurate recordsGenerates reports and provides data as requestedEnsures internal processes comply with labor agreementAuditing of technicians in terms of attendance, compliance, timesheets, and trainingCreate, update and manage employee field files for managersPrepare documentation for compliance manager for communication to managersSupport other projects as neededEducation :Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalentExperience :2-4 years relevant experienceDemonstrated client relationship managementExperience working with a union environment a plusSpecial Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteUnderstanding of applicable laws and regulations (OFCCP, VEVRAA, etc.)

    Salary Range:
