Job summary

This position supports the work of YMCA Camp H.R. Erdman providing positive life-changing experiences for individuals groups and families greeting and assisting visitors guests and tour groups with program and facility information responding to inquiries via phone email and voicemail in a timely professional manner managing mail distribution maintaining a clean organized front office space logging booking inquiries relaying details to appropriate Program Directors following established booking procedures assisting with online registrations payments collection of required forms waivers supporting administrative tasks such as data entry key distribution lost found performing other program-related tasks assigned assist monthly inventory daily cash reports petty cash reconciliation bank runs support annual campaign tasks community events staff recognition efforts help manage office supplies equipment support accounts receivable processes collections invoice coding provide marketing support gather content manage social media create branded materials flyers banners etc under supervision operate POS system merchandise sales support inventory tracking daily financial reporting related store operations QUALIFICATIONSAbility relate effectively diverse groups people from all social economic segments community previous experience customer service answering phones greeting customers handling customer concerns basic accounting skills computer experience MS Word Excel Publisher PowerPoint Google Docs Sheets Forms Slides at least years age current TB Test Child Protection Commitment The YMCA requires all staff share responsibility preventing child abuse upholding professional boundaries completing mandatory Praesidium training reporting concerns all candidates must successfully complete comprehensive background screening including criminal sex offender checks
