Job summary
This role provides oversight functional direction to plant personnel ensuring safe efficient operation of all plant systems including startup shutdown of main equipment auxiliaries Performs preventive predictive corrective maintenance conducts inspections operational tests manages consumables maintains logs ensures procedural compliance across all operations.Responsibilities
Plans performs routine preventive predictive corrective maintenance on all systems equipment Performs electrical mechanical inspections troubleshooting operational tests on all power plant systems components Monitors daily consumption rates chemicals gases fuels water other consumables tracks inventories initiates action replenish them Investigates plant problems incidents accidents unusual events providing analyses recommendations reports follow-up plans Maintains accurate shift operating logs records time sheets material requisitions work reports downtime outages repair requirements production indices Interprets operating maintaining data established standards sound plant practices Develops reviews revises operating related procedures ensuring procedural compliance plant operations activities Plans performs housekeeping duties maintaining housekeeping standards initiating corrective action as needed Develops monitors planned daily operations schedule Assists orientation training development new O&M Technicians Designs develops evaluates on-the-job classroom training operations maintenance subjects Prepares administers lesson plans visual aids examinations qualification standards materials employee training development Communicates personnel site external stakeholders Represents company dealing public vendors contractors regulators non-company personnel Serves site representative after hours Effectively communicates equipment condition performance supervision fellow personnel suggestions improvements Provides relief support covering day night shifts basis willing work overtime scheduled call-in Conducts bulk offloads chemical as required Ensures work correctly meets customer needs maintain operational excellence Performs additional duties fulfill initial expectations.Job description
