    Job Summary

    The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) holds a pivotal role in managing all financial aspects of the organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO provides strategic financial leadership to drive our financial performance and growth objectives.

    Job Responsibilities
    • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and execute financial strategies, forecasts, and budgets aligned with our objectives.
    • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Risk Management: Implement robust risk management practices to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Capital Management: Manage capital allocation, investment decisions, and financing activities.
    • Financial Operations: Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, and audit functions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to optimize financial resources and pursue growth opportunities.
    • Leadership and Team Development: Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
    • Partner with the Executive Team to develop the company's deal strategy and help with the execution of these transactions.
    • Manage the financial analysis and reporting involved in the execution and integration of mergers, acquisitions, business partnerships, and licensing agreements.
    • Provide strategic leadership and insight on future financing plans, helping to evaluate creative financing strategies, generating options/alternatives for accessing capital, as well as supporting financial evaluation of these transactions.
    • Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the organization's operations and business plans.
    • Manage all aspects of the finance and accounting functions for the organization and ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.
    • Evolve the company's financial infrastructure.
    • Implement timely and accurate reporting and analysis, both written and oral, of financial and associated business information to internal, external, and regulatory constituencies.
    Technical Expertise Requirements
    • Demonstrate technical expertise in accounting and financial topics including financial analysis and reporting, data analytics and business intelligence, as well as IT and cybersecurity skills.
    • Hands-on experience with modern technologies such as advanced Excel functions, data visualization tools, and financial analysis software.
    • Experience with business and financial analytics.
    • Knowledge of predictive analytics techniques such as regression analysis.
    • Experience leading globally distributed Finance & Accounting teams and knowledge of regulations and business practices in international regions.

    • Strong understanding of financial principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.

    • Must be able to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
    Education
    • College degree in a related field and/or applicable work experience. Master's degree preferred.
