    Position Summary:

    The Project Coordinator provides a wide variety of project and office administrative support for the Littleton office. There is interaction with team members in the other regional offices. Convergence seeks candidates who are dependable, energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing. They must have the ability to independently solve problems and to thrive in a creative and energetic workplace.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Contribute to the overall effectiveness of Convergence by performing project and office administrative duties including but not limited to the following;

    • · Monitors and updates engineering deliverable status using company or client document control systems and procedures
    • · Ensuring deadlines are met by creating project schedules with milestones, due dates and estimates for materials that are required
    • · Develops a familiarity with basic engineering and project control processes such as scope definition, design development, scheduling, estimating, cost reporting, and document control
    • · Occasionally assist in engineering tasks and functions of an appropriate support nature with direct guidance with project engineers
    • · Proofread proposals and other documents prior to distribution
    • · Create and edit documents using Convergence standards and templates and update style guides
    • · Assist with updating customer and project information in CRM
    • · Various general office duties including ordering various supplies, selection of local vendors, coordination client meetings and training sessions
    • · Work as a liaison for Human Resources and HSE (Safety)
    • · Obtain Quotes, Create PO's, track and maintain all orders and projects through the project accounting system while ensuring the procurement is kept within the requirements of the client purchase orders
    • · Be reasonably accommodating of schedule flexibility, beyond a traditional 8-hour workday, in order to meet deadlines and unexpected requirements
    • · Be willing to take on new challenges in support of office operations


    Requirements

    Experience – Greater than 3 years with capabilities in the below areas is preferred:

    • · 3+ years project management experience, preferably in an engineering environment
    • · Strong written and verbal skills
    • · Hands-on experience with procurement and managing vendors
    • · Advanced level skills in Word & Excel (format and control of templates, possibly some VBA), introductory competence with Adobe, Access and Visio
    • · Close attention to detail and work accuracy is crucial

    Education – Continued education in an associate or bachelor program. A focus on business or administration is desired. Prefer candidates with a minimum of 3 years of project administrator experience.
