- Always approaches all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly and serviceoriented manner by maintaining a positive demeanor.

- Greets and seats guests at appropriate tables in a timely manner, providing menus and occasionally taking drink orders as the guests wait for their server.
- Be attentive of guests' needs and assists in providing a pleasant dining experience.
- Assists cashier in collection of cash or credit cards from guests and servers as needed.
- Pays out servers' and service attendants' tips if appropriate.
- Properly takes reservations as well as room service orders.
- Ensures quality control of menus with regard to cleanliness and appearance.
- Performs opening and closing duties according to established side work.
- Answers all phone calls according to standards.
- Maintains knowledge of menus and current or daily specials.
- Adheres to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines.
- Maintains a friendly attitude, attending all guests in an efficient and prompt manner.
- Projects a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service.
- Maintains a clean, healthy, and safe working area along with awareness of all sanitary practices.
- Supports other staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Adheres to safety and quality regulations.
- Handles guest complaints and solves problem to the degree possible.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by management.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of host and customer service experience required, hospitality industry preferred.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, or scheduled form.
- Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English in order to communicate with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of reservation and POS systems.
- Ability to work with computers and good knowledge of operating software preferred.
- Must be able to multi-task and be detail oriented.
- Must be a team player.
