    We are hiring a full-time Swing Shift Production Supervisor to spearhead the planning and execution of production activities, ensuring they align with our production goals, quality standards, and cost targets. This role involves prioritizing production schedules according to delivery commitments, shipment plans, equipment effectiveness, and material availability. You'll be responsible for hiring, supervising, and developing personnel to optimize production efficiency, as well as crafting schedules and staffing plans for designated areas. Assignments typically come in the form of clear objectives, accompanied by outlined goals and processes to achieve them. Instructions on new projects or assignments are normally provided.

    This job provides general supervision to nonexempt employees. Supervisory responsibilities will be carried out in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

    This role is onsite.

    Swing Shift Hours: 3:45pm to 12:15am

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

    • Ensure that departments meet production's daily, weekly, and monthly goals within budget and a high level of quality.
    • Assist with plant capacity, equipment, and space necessary to meet current and future production plans.
    • Determines work schedules and overtime, allocation of resources and which machines will run and resolves problems as they occur.
    • Looks for new ways to improve the efficiency of production lines.
    • Confers with department supervisors/managers to determine status of assigned projects.
    • Prepares production reports.
    • Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines.
    • Provide leadership to employees, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Qualifications

    • Associates degree (A.S) from two -year college (preferably in Electronics) or university degree in a related field. Bachelor Degree (B.S) is a plus.
    • 2-5 years of supervisory role experience.
    • General knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP Software.
    • Follows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required.
    • Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100.
    • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/Kaizen.
    • Knowledge of specific software (design, analysis, ERP...)
    • US Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance.
