- Generate computerized treatment plans for all types of external beam radiotherapy treatments including but not limited to 2D, 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT in accordance to departmental policies and procedures while adhering to standard dosimetry practices. Treatment plans often include patients enrolled in clinical trials, requiring specific planning workflows.
- Work closely with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist to develop customized treatment plans for the patients, reflective of the prescription and any other special instructions.
- Performs verification checks and applies quality assurance procedures to ensure the accuracy of dose calculations.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:
Under general supervision of the medical dosimetry manager responsible for calculating computerized treatment plans for radiation oncology patients.
Work Setting:
On-site, Remote, or Hybrid
Job Duties:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a physical or biological science; or a graduate of hospital/college affiliated medical dosimetry school is required.
Experience:
No experience is needed. One (1) to three (3) years of experience in dosimetry is preferred.
Additional Licenses and Certifications:
Certified by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board is required.
