    Description

    Renown Health and University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) are recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified Movement Disorder Physician to join our growing and well-supported Neurology program within our Neurosciences Section of the Department of Medicine.

    The Incumbent must have completed a 4 year Neurology Residency and minimum 1 year Movement Disorder Fellowship.

    The Movement Disorder Neurologist will help further the Movement Disorder program by accurately diagnosing movement disorders and develop comprehensive management plans and incorporate various therapeutic options including medications, injections, and deep brain stimulation.

    Renown's physicians foster the teaching of residents and medical students from The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Physicians also have access to an established Research Department which provides support to coordinate clinical trials or take the opportunity to conduct research on the university campus.

    Renown Regional houses The Institute of Neurosciences and is a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and NAEC Level III accredited Epilepsy Center

    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

    • Outpatient schedule Monday – Friday, 8a to 5p; 4/10 OR 3/12 schedule option available

    • Ability to participate in clinical research trials and translational research with the UNR Graduate School of Neuroscience's Integrative Neuroscience Institute
