    is a regional community health center covering a 37-town rural region in eastern Connecticut with sites located in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich and Putnam.

    Our dedicated staff provides a full range of primary care services to all ages including medical, dental and behavioral healthcare, as well as care coordination and community outreach.


    Location:

    Willimantic, CTJob Responsibilities:

    As a physician medical director, you will provide a full range of primary care services: from physical exams and therapeutic and surgical procedures, to patient education, and ensuring continuity of care.

    You will provide leadership and oversight of medical care at the Willimantic site in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and the Chief Quality Officer.


    Requirements:
    Experience in Ambulatory primary care setting preferred. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Interest in serving low income-multicultural populations. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.

    The ability to establish and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers, and to function in a calm manner during stressful and emergency situations.

    Demonstrates the flexibility and resilience in response to changing clinical or administrative environments. Must have valid driver's license from State of residence. Must be able to transport oneself within the service area.


    Medical Director Salary Scale:
    $230,375+Medical Director role is 20% admin

    & 80% clinicalSign-On Bonus:
