- Model mechanical design concepts using 3D Parametric software
- Generate detail drawings for new and existing components following drafting standards.
- Prepare ECNs, bills of material, and assembly drawings
- Create sketches, views, or images for bulletins and other technical documents
- Offer technical support to Quality, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams
- Collaborate with vendors and provide technical assistance
- Engage in company safety meetings and promote safety awareness
- Other duties as assigned
- Associate degree (or equivalent) in engineering technology
- At least 2 years of design experience with 8 years of drafting experience
- Able to read, comprehend, and write in English
- Effectively present technical information to colleagues, customers, and vendors
- According to the requirements of an engineering technology associate degree
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form
- Address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Knowledge of Manufacturing/Inventory software
- Experience with spreadsheet and word processor software

Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS Design Software is a must.
Job Description:
Creates designs and detailed drawings for new components and modifications to existing parts in collaboration with engineers to meet customer design needs. They develop bills of material, engineering change notices, and other necessary documents. The ideal candidate should have experience with drilling and/or rotating equipment, particularly with top drives, drawworks, catwalks, and wrenches.
