Their capabilities are extensive, including 3D printers, microscopes, e-beam writers, and general fabrication equipment, with the ability to invent new solutions as needed.
They are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who has 2+ years of experience across design, prototyping, simulation, testing ideally in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
RequirementsCore responsibilitiesDesign and develop precision mechanical components and systemsWork with manufacturing partners and equipment for prototyping and manufacturing mechanical systemsEvaluate and refine mechanical systems according to performanceProduce comprehensive documentation encompassing CAD designs, drawings, and design reasoning, etc.
Work on things such as lithography, deposition, nanometer precision motion control, plasma etching systems, vacuum chambers, etc.RequiredB.S.
degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering2+ years of industry experience as a Mechanical EngineerExtensive experience with mechanical system analysis and designExperience with 3D printing, rapid prototyping, and manual machiningExperience with tolerance analysis and GD&TExperience with SolidWorks / Onshape, (FEA, 2D drawings, simulations, etc.)Design experience for additive manufacturing and conventional machiningUnderstanding of electrical, mechanical, and thermal properties for a variety of metalsExperience with precision engineering (nanoscale mechanical precision, microfluidics, vacuum chamber etc.)
