Job summary
We are currently looking for a dedicated experienced individual to join our team as Full Time Faculty – Social Work.The ideal candidate will plan organize and teach in a manner that ensures the achievement of the institution's learning objectives.
The job requires teaching twelve credits per semester maintaining competence and professional development conducting research projects publications external resource projects participating in committees commissions governing bodies attending faculty meetings assemblies graduation ceremonies providing academic counseling mentorship support to students maintaining an individual professional development plan serving as a mentor to new faculty members complying with functions tasks inherent to teaching participating in evaluation committee for doctoral program candidates.
The ideal candidate should have one of the following PhD in Social Work DSW in Social Work with experience in investigation minimum two years post-master's experience doctorate degree related field Clinical Psychology Marriage & Family Therapy Education Master of Social Work MSW program accredited CSWE minimum two five years professional experience successful instructor subject area prior teaching experience postsecondary level more than two years post-master's social work degree practice experience including experience individuals families groups communities developing research questions proposals licensed clinical social worker LCSW equivalent licensure certification state-specific credentials good standing ability express self effectively verbally writing Spanish English excellent communication interpersonal organizational skills teamwork ability work collaboratively faculty staff students diverse backgrounds commitment student success institution's mission able submit copy diploma academic transcripts certifications proven leadership skills previous work experience knowledge technical applications curriculum development program accreditation processes CSWE accreditation social work programs available flexible schedule nights weekends location onsite South Florida Campus.
