- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and regulations (OSHA, USDA, HACCP, GMPs).
- Foster positive relationships with team members to enhance safety, engagement, and productivity.
- Determine staffing needs and alert management to recruitment requirements.
- Enhance labor efficiency by managing headcount and work activities.
- Handle employee requests and schedules effectively.
- Promptly address equipment problems to minimize downtime.
- Provide guidance to line leads and production staff.
- Set production rates to meet output goals while ensuring quality and efficient material use.
- Participate in training material development and documentation.
- Lead by example in behavior and work ethic.
- Proactively resolve production department challenges.
- Ensure accurate documentation of production-related paperwork.
- Promote transparent communication across all levels.
- Report any quality or safety issues to relevant parties.
- Coach and develop team members, make employment decisions, and handle conflicts.
- Act as back up for Line Leads or Production Team Worker when needed.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in the food industry.
- Prior experience in a production environment.
- Knowledge of USDA regulations is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Collaboration is crucial as you collaborate with quality, warehouse, maintenance, and sanitation teams to ensure operational success.
