    Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Per Diem Mammography Technologist for its Mammography office at an affiliated practice in Plano, TX.

    The Mammography Technologist is a Radiologic Technologist who performs Mammography procedures at a clinical and technical level not requiring constant supervision. The Mammography Technologist administers ionizing radiation to aid in the detection and diagnosis of breast disease through 2D/3D imaging exams. The Mammographer ensures a high level of quality and service is delivered to all organizational customers. When not performing mammography exams, the technologist will assist the operations manager with quality requirements and general administrative duties to complete patient care.

    Retention Bonus: Must attain 120 hours of work to receive a $1,000 retention bonus.

    Responsibilities:
    • Perform Mammography Imaging and Quality Control
    • Complete Patient Information Requirements and Paperwork
    • Converse with Radiologist about Mammographic Exams
    • Support Manager with MQSA and ACR Requirements
    • Administrative Work to Complete Exams for Interpretation

    Additional Job Functions:

    • All other job requests as assigned by Mammography Operations Manager, Director of Imaging Operations, or Care Center Administrator
    Qualifications:
    • ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required
    • ARRT Certification in the Registration of Mammography (M) Required
    • Minimum Two Years' Experience in a Mammography Position Preferred
    • State Department of Radiation Control License as Required by Location of Practice
