    The Enrollment Services Officer serves on the Enrollment Services team in the Student Financial Aid Office.
    Primary Function of Organizational Unit:


    The mission of the Student Financial is to provide quality service in a professional and compassionate manner to students and other customers while assuring the University's compliance with Federal, State and Institutional regulations.

    This position reports to the Associate Director of Student Financial Aid.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
    All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
    Preferred:


    Graduation from a four-year college/university with one year of general administrative experience involving public contact, oral and written communication, and the interpretation of program policy and procedures preferably in the field of teaching, student services, or a related educational capacity; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

    Supervisor prefers 2 – 3 years of experience in financial aid or enrollment management. The successful applicant should possess exceptional written and oral communication skills, exhibit confidence while interfacing with a variety of customers; ability to conduct workshops and possess good leadership; skilled in applying information technology techniques (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel) to complete tasks and working knowledge of the Financial Aid Banner System.

    Dimensions desired:

    self-starter requiring minimal supervision, able to handle multiply tasks, process- oriented, make decisions independently; pay close attention to details; apply regulations with accuracy; possess good interpersonal skills to deal effectively with a diverse student population; applies knowledge of University academic programs and student services; ability to interpret financial details is key; ability to plan and organize cyclic work in order to meet target dates is important to the daily operation.
