    Description


    The Rehab Technician will assist the Therapy department in daily care plan directives while encouraging patients to meet their therapy goals.


    • Excellent customer service.
    • Communicates appropriately with the patient and his/her family, caregiver(s), and/or significant other.
    • Comply with facility/customer requirements, policies and practices.
    • Able to work in fast paced environment with attention to detail
    • Organization skills and computer abilities.
    • Maintain inventory of therapy equipment and supplies.
    • Supervise therapy assistants/techs as set forth in PT state regulations.
    • Prepares, maintains and cleans treatment areas and equipment regularly and restocks supplies.
    • Attend all meetings required by the facility.
    • Maintain inventory of therapy equipment and supplies.
    • Will participate in facility and departmental meetings as directed.
    • Order supplies as needed to support patient care.
    • Transport residents to and from the treatment areas as scheduled/directed.
    • Prepare the environment and equipment for patient care.
    • Be compliant with infection control procedures and environmental safety protocol within the facility.
    • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and operations.
    • Must conduct self in an ethical, legal and responsible manner at all times.
    • Must adhere to the policies, principles and guidelines within the Employee Handbook and Code of Business Conduct.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
    • Assists patients with mobility, positioning and functional activities as needed as directed by the PT, PT or SLP.
    • Reports equipment repairs or supply needs to supervisor.
    Qualifications


    • At least a High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience in healthcare setting working in nursing and rehabilitation
