    LocationUS-Maryland-WestminsterDate Posted18 Aug 2021Cobham is seeking a **Shipping and Receiving Clerk** for our Westminster, MD facility.

    **Key Responsibilities:**

    Undertakes tasks and activities directly contributing to the creation of products / achievement of revenue targets. This role profile covers a large variety of specific jobs and skills that may be required within the Operations function, i.e. electronics, assembly, test, repairs. (Detailed structures & skills for Production Team Members will often be managed through local skills matrixes).

    Understand and follow detailed work instructions relating to area of responsibility Produce products accurately and aligned to the client requirements and internal quality control measures Ensure that all operations are completed to the required timescale.

    Eliminate waste wherever possible, participate in continuous improvement activities as requested. Proactively identify potential issues and escalate as appropriate. Contribute to problem solving activities. Work within all health and safety guidelines, proactively raising issues where these are encountered. Maintain a clean, safe working environment for yourself and other team members, participating in safety activities as requested

    **Minimum Requirements: .**

    High School diploma (or equivalent)

    Possesses working knowledge of stockroom, shipping, receiving and inspection processes

    High degree of initiative and ownership, attention to detail, and the discipline to follow through on assigned tasks

    Ability to communicate well internally and externally at all levels in the organization

    Good organization skills with attention to detail

    **Preferred Qualifications:**

    Operate UPS, and Fed Ex mail equipment/ software. Keep all records of outgoing shipments.

    Working knowledge of Electronic Inventory Management systems

    Barcode Inventory Experience

    Cycle Counting

    Inventory
