    Rampart Technologies Corporation has an opportunity for a Linux/Unix System Administrator (SA) position is in the Northern Virginia area. You will be able to utilize your Linux/UNIX system administration and software development skills. You will work closely with the other SAs, system vendors and the end-users to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Skills and familiarity with the Linux Red Hat Operating System is a must.

    You will be allowed to stretch strong problem solving and communication skills, as well as work alone and as a member of the support and development team.

    Responsibilities:
    Operate, maintain and troubleshoot Linux RedHat systems within an enterprise server environment
    Install O/S patch updates and third party application updates to maintain reliability and security posture.
    Understanding of all phases of the software development lifecycle; the System Engineering Life Cycle; and the ability to comprehend user business needs and concerns and integrate that understanding with technical skills
    Illustrates hands-on knowledge and experience building and deploying automated server and workstation builds across an enterprise infrastructure with environments that are logically separated
    Install, setup and maintain HP enterprise servers and SANS systems.
    Operate, maintain and troubleshoot ESXi virtualization systems.

    Create and maintain backup of the Redhat/Unix systems and maintain and update the disaster recovery plans of the Redhat/Unix systems.

    Create and update documentation to support system administration procedures for installing, operating and maintaining the systems.

    Technical Requirements:
    You must have 7 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education.

    This equates to a Doctorate and 0 years of experience OR Masters and 1 years, Bachelors and 3 years, Associates and 5 years or HS and 7 years.

    Must comply with DoD 8570 IAT Level 2.
