BOYD Corporation (Woburn) is a market leader and manufacturer of high-performance cooling products for use in the aerospace, military, alternative energy and medical markets. Our continued growth has created an immediate opening for a Project Engineer. We are looking for a highly motivated design engineer with excellent communication skills who can write proposals to win new business and manage new product development projects. This position requires creativity and the ability to sell your ideas internally and to customers.

In this highly visible position in our Engineering department you will:

• Manage new product development teams. Ensure that cost, performance and schedule goals are achieved
• Design heat exchangers, cold plates and other value-added assemblies to provide differentiated thermal solutions
• Write proposals that win new business
• Develop and execute verification test plans
• Write test procedures and engineering reports

Requirements

The successful candidate will have as a minimum:

• BS degree in mechanical engineering and 3+ years of experience
• Experience with computational fluid dynamics and finite element analysis tools
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience with aerospace or military product development
• Working knowledge of metal forming, joining and heat treating

Desired Experience: MSME degree and design experience with heat exchangers or related thermal management products.
