Job summary
The Senior Power BI Architect will serve as the subject‐matter expert for enterprise‐level Power BI architecture,governance,performance optimization,and secure data delivery.This role is responsible for definingand enforcing best practices,designing scalable analytics solutions guiding development teams,and ensuring Power BI deployments follow robust security and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Power BI Architecture & Solution Design Design implement maintain enterprise‐grade Power BI solutions including semantic models datasets,
scalable workspace architectures Develop guidelines for Lakehouse/Warehouse integration Direct Lake
DirectQuery Import mode usage Define standards for model optimization data model design naming conventions,
development patterns Architect reusable components templates accelerate delivery ensure consistency; - Governance Best Practices & Center of Excellence (CoE) Leadership Establish maintain enterprise Power BI governance frameworks including Workspace strategy taxonomy Dataset certification standards Version control DevOps processes Development lifecycle ALM best practices Lead CoE align business units technical teams Document evangelize best practices playbooks guidelines training;
