    Position :
    Middle School Nurse
    Match Middle School (Jamaica Plain, MA)

    Match Charter Public School has a school year opening for an experienced registered nurse for our 300+ student middle school, located on 215 Forest Hills St.

    in Jamaica Plain, MA. Our schools are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of all of our students. The nurse will work closely and collaboratively with the school leaders, teachers, and other staff in our middle school. The ideal candidate has school nursing, pediatric, emergency room, and/or public health experience.
    The MS Nurse will report directly to the Middle School Director of Operations. The compensation for this position ranges from $67,812-104,899 and is set based on prior years of full-time nurse experience. Match offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes 90% coverage of health insurance costs and student loan repayment assistance.
    Assist with COVID response and mitigation;

    • Medication administration PRN and daily;
    • Serving as medical presence during school hours from 7:15am-2:45pm daily (7:15am-4:30pm on Wednesdays);
    • Implement annual school requirements including but not limited to health screenings for all students, EpiPen and medication delegation for staff to the extent possible within license, field trip coordination for students with medical needs, annual medical forms from students, maintenance of med orders, and procedures for students on individual health plans particularly during winter months;
    • Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community
    Experience in pediatrics/adolescent medicine.

    • Excellent communication skills with youth and families from multiple cultural backgrounds.
