    Job Description

    American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a 12-hour night shift role at a Level I trauma and teaching hospital, requiring ARRT-R certification and BLS.

    Responsibilities
    Position is in a hospital with both adult and pediatric patients including ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatient settings
    Level I Trauma and Stroke Center, as well as Chest Pain Center
    Average patient volume is per day
    Work Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with no floating required
    Call rotation is shared fairly among all staff including travelers, PRN, and full/part-time teammates
    Uses Epic EMR; experience preferred
    Equipment includes Shimadzu RadSpeed, Intelli-C multipurpose, Konica and Shimadzu portables, GE and Siemens R/F rooms
    Exposure to a range of cases from ED, trauma, and intensive care to outpatient diagnostics
    Support from lead techs, modality supervisors, and an Imaging Manager
    Five-day departmental orientation provided, with flexibility based on traveler needs
    Travelers are expected to assist with holiday coverage unless time off is pre-approved
    Scrub color for technologists is black
    Team culture values diversity, teamwork, and a high clinical skill set
    First-time travelers are welcome

    Requirements
    Active ARRT-R and BLS required
    Minimum 1 year of radiology technologist experience
    Confidence and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
    Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude preferred
    License required if applicable
