    Salary: Up to $110,000k

    Job Description:

    As a RN Unit Manager, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team, working alongside our leadership to ensure the highest standard of patient care for our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Assisting in evaluating and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in compliance with current regulations and guidelines.
    • Ensuring that all nursing services personnel adhere to their job descriptions.
    • Reviewing and addressing complaints and grievances filed by department personnel.
    • Utilizing your leadership skills to manage an assigned unit effectively.
    • Collaborating with the facility's leadership to maintain safe nursing coverage 24/7, minimizing the need for overtime and agency personnel.
    • Implementing progressive counseling and, when necessary, recommending or initiating disciplinary action in line with facility policies.
    • Providing professional guidance and supervision to both professional and non-professional unit staff.
    • Participating in quality assurance activities for the facility.
    • Demonstrating, teaching, and evaluating nursing skills used in direct resident care.
    • Assuming responsibility for the completion of assessments on the unit.
    • Offering consultation in developing and implementing discharge plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
    • Participating in staff recruitment, including assisting in the interviewing and selection of nursing personnel.
    • Ensuring residents and their families receive the highest quality of service in a compassionate atmosphere that respects individuals' needs and rights.

    Requirements:

    • Valid NY RN license.
    • Experience in a healthcare facility.
