Shift:
The need for this current position is cover to callouts, techs wanting time off, and/or to help with weekend staff.
These shifts range from 6 a.m. to 7:
30 p.m. Monday to Friday,Weekend hours are from 8 a.m. - 4:
30p.m.

Job Purpose:


Performs diagnostic and therapeutic NuclearMedicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to allProtocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A.programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordancewith manufacturer, state and federalguidelines.

Qualifications:

MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:

Graduate of a NuclearMedicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee onEducation Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or theNuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board(NMTCB).

MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:


None

MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW:


Registered nuclear technologist with eitherthe American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (Nuclear) ARRT (N)or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board(NMTCB-CNMT).

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:


BLS Certified. Possesses athorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines andradiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process NuclearMedicineexaminations.
