- Provide analysis, management reporting, planning, and accounting support for global business growth.
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliation.
- Load financial results in Hyperion.
- Handle budgeting and forecasting.
- Manage the financial month-end close process.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reporting with insightful commentary.
- Perform financial analysis and compare current results to the prior year and plan.
- Create and prepare financial analysis reports.
- Conduct product costing analysis.
- Track and communicate capital expenditure projects.
- Review excess and obsolete inventory.
- Manage accounts receivable collection.
- Generate ad hoc reports as needed.
- Assist departments and other business unit accounting personnel.
- Lead and manage accounting staff.
- Undertake special projects assigned by the General Manager or CFO of North America.
- Assist with future North American acquisitions, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
- Foster daily communication rapport with Business Unit General Managers, addressing financial issues and strategic direction.
- Provide financial training and support to General Managers to enhance their interpretation and utilization of financial results.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, with major coursework in business, finance, or accounting.
- 6+ years of accounting/financial experience within manufacturing and/or fabrication companies, including distribution.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (V look-ups, pivot tables), Word, and Outlook; experience with Hyperion and QuickBooks.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting and finance field, including cost accounting.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
- Deadline-driven, high-energy individual capable of working autonomously and leading as a key contributor on teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal skills are a must, along with a willingness to accept and take ownership of new responsibilities in a fast-growing environment.
- The ability to work independently is crucial.
