Job summary

The Lead Direct Support Personnel assists with daily operations of residential home sites ensuring seamless service delivery high-quality client care. This role involves assisting with oversight of client programs monitoring medication administration maintaining accurate documentation supervising inventory control providing direct support to staff and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Print copy programs ensuring they are accurately filed in the corresponding client files Communicate new programs to staff via logs ensuring staff sign off to acknowledge their awareness understanding Collaborate with RSD ensure all programs are current up-to-date including printing setting up new monthly client books Upload monthly data information TEAMS notify RSD upon completion Regularly review update client files ensure all documentation is accurate up-to-date.
  • Medication Management: Conduct daily checks medications all clients at home site ensure proper administration availability Notify RSD designated RNT when medications low need reordering prevent lapses medication availability Review medication administration records daily all clients ensure accuracy compliance Report observed omissions errors medication administration promptly Assist check-in medications directed necessary place of RSD ensure proper handling documentation.
