Summer Camp Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Set amongst 52 acres of woods, trails, fields and aquatic areas of the Cleveland Metro parks, the Achievement Centers for Childrens Sensational Day Camp offers campers all the traditional camp activities including: hiking, swimming, fishing, canoeing, arts and crafts, nature study activities, games, campfire activities, music and sports.

We are looking for an OT or COTA to work with children with autism and other special needs who are attending an ESY camp.

The right applicant should be experienced working on IEP goals with non-verbal students with complex needs including some with behavioral challenges.

Must hold current CPR and First Aid certification and have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with children.

Must be able to engage with campers both indoors and outside, assist with lifting children in and out of wheelchairs as needed.

This is a part-time position with flexibility Summer camp dates are June to August.
