A major portion of the position is scheduling of operative procedures and provides diverse clerical duties. Maintains daily logs, runs requested data reports, and distributes statistical data for the department. Maintains patient confidentiality and proficient on a computer. Maintains an atmosphere of professionalism. Maintains schedule related to scheduling policy. Utilizes troubleshooting skills to resolve patient scheduling issues/conflicts.
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Required Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Years and Type of Experience: Previous experience in health care setting preferred.

Abilities Required:
Basic computer skills, typing skills, knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to manage the scheduling of surgical procedures.
