Description
Responsibilities Surface Maintenance and Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP) was established to provide centralized surface ship life cycle maintenance engineering, and class maintenance planning and managementSURFMEPP's primary mission is to maintain and modernize in-service ships throughout the ship's expected service life focusing on a complete, well-engineered, and continuously improving Class Maintenance Plan (CMP)
SURFMEPP's Corrosion Analysts lead engineering efforts to develop and maintain Class Maintenance Plans (CMP) for ship tanks, voids, weather decks and superstructures using reliability centered maintenance principles
SURFMEPP's Corrosion Planners actively manage and track surface ship class corrosion plans during CNO Availability advanced planning and planning processes
Corrosion Analysts and Planners use standard operating procedures, best practices, and growing expertise to assist Maintenance Teams with identifying and tracking Mandatory Technical Requirements (MTRs) and are relied on to act as SURFMEPP's initial Corrosion Subject Matter Expert to other Surface Navy maintenance stakeholders during CNO Availability planning

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws
The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status
Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours
The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis' total compensation package for employees
