The Medication Care Manager is responsible for administering medication and treatments in a safe organized manner. They will provide the highest degree of quality care and services to residents while demonstrating the Mission for Sunrise Senior Living.
Responsibilities
- Provide medication administration record documentation notate initial read review pertinent information residents electronic health record learn ensure safety organize times utilizing mobile med cart pass according times routes refuse dosages document completion refusal missed doses maintain confidentiality resident information including medication room carts treatment carts neatness cleanliness availability medications expired medications refill process notify RCD Wellness Nurse prescription needed assist independence promote dignity physical safety resident adhere Sunrise Principles Service strive understand respond empathetically mindful communication patterns history basic human needs practice good standard precautions cleanliness hygiene health react remain calm difficult situations handle multiple priorities possess written verbal skills effective communication level understanding demonstrate good judgment problem solving decision-making skills
